Peak Power

Genloop's Peak Power is a low cost turnkey gas turbine solution designed for low-hour grid reliability applications

Growing Need for Capacity

A growing global dispatchable energy gap of several hundred GW is imminent. We use existing equipment to facilitate economical short-term thermal peaking projects

LOW-COST CAPACITY

The Peak Connect model enables us to supply generation equipment for low hour dispatchable power projects at a minimal Cost/kW of $180 with virtually no lead times, enabling us to respond as key suppliers within the increasingly unpredictable market dynamics of the global grid.

EXPEDITED AVAILABILITY

Lead times of 24 months delay delivery of primary OEM-sourced equipment, reducing developers’ potential of meeting immediate capacity opportunities. With readily available units, we are able to offer immediate deployment options that meet permitting requirements.

Sustainable Grid Reliability

We believe this model will become recognized as not only a reliable but also environmentally desirable power source for grid operators and environmental oversight bodies alike.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

By refurbishing, upgrading and retrofitting used gas turbines for many years of more efficient and environmentally sensitive operation, we obviate the need to manufacture new turbines that must run for thousands of hours to meet investment goals

LOCAL AIR QUALITY STANDARDS

At 2ppm NOx emissions we are performing beyond the majority of current local ozone emissions requirements. By substantially lowering emissions compared to traditional peaking units, our solution aids localities in achieving air quality objectives

FOSSIL FUEL TRANSITION

We eliminate the need for new, 100+ million dollar gas-fired infrastructure, instead enabling short-term models for fast-ramping dispatchable energy as battery, wind, and solar play catch-up to meet a greater share of the growing peak-demand reliability needs.

GREENHOUSE GASES

While recently introduced GHG standards are already accepting of low hour gas-fired peaking units, our turbines’ potential to burn hydrogen allows for projects to continue as GHG emissions standards adapt and hydrogen infrastructure develops.
